Rome has always been a popular 2 or 3-day extension to our Israel Holy Land tours, and most of Rome’s leading sites such as, the Colosseum, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Catacombs, and the ancient Forum can be visited during a 2-day stay. We also arrange deluxe motor coach tours of \"\"various lengths which usually begin with 2 or 3 nights in Rome, then north to Tuscany visiting delightful Siena, San Gimignano – the medieval\u00a0 “skyscraper” town, Florence with it’s amazing Duomo and Art Museums (think Michelangelo’s David), and Pisa’s famous leaning tower. From there travel through the beautiful Apennine Mountains to Verona, famous for being the setting of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet.” Continue to Venice, the city with no roads – only canals, built on 100 small islands. Must-see Venetian sites include: Piazza San Marco, Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Bridge of Sighs. And a gondola ride is also a must as it’s impossible to see many amazing parts of Venice except from a gondola. We recommend 2 night stays in Rome, Siena, Florence, and either Verona or Venice for a 10-day tour.*<\/em><\/p>\n

If Southern Italy and a slightly shorter tour is your preference, we’ll design your tour to journey south after your Rome visit. Travel by deluxe coach to Naples and nearby Pompeii, viewing Mount Vesuvius. Stay in a beautiful mountainside hotel in Sorrento or Positano on the Amalfi Coast…you may wish to sample lemoncello, the drink made from the lemons grown in this region. Enjoy a short boat-ride to the magical Isle of Capri and visit it’s highest point, Anacapri, for an amazing view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Amalfi Coast.
